Frequently asked questions

Do you work on all makes and model years?

All years, all makes, all classes. On the floor in a typical week there is a 1959 Flxible bus conversion being restored alongside a current model Sprinter and a municipal refuse truck. Shops that specialise narrowly are efficient right up until your vehicle falls outside the specialty, which is when owners end up here.

My vehicle is not on your list. Can you still help?

Almost certainly. The categories here cover the common cases rather than every possible vehicle. If it is large, if it has a house on it, if it is a working commercial or municipal vehicle, or if somebody converted it into something it did not start as, it is the kind of thing we handle. Call and describe it.

Why does the vehicle type change the repair?

Because construction differs fundamentally. A unibody Sprinter and a body-on-frame box truck fail in opposite ways. A fiberglass Class A cap and an aluminium Airstream skin need entirely different repair methods. A fifth wheel takes structural load through its pin box in a way no motorhome does. Treating them all as body work is how repairs go wrong.

Do you work on converted and custom vehicles?

Yes, and a large share of the work here is conversions: van builds, skoolies, bus conversions, overland and expedition vehicles, and mobile business builds. Conversions add a complication worth knowing about, which is that structural repair needs access to the shell, so the build comes out and goes back. That labor is real and it is frequently missing from an insurance estimate.

We work on all years, all makes and all classes, from Class A diesel pushers down to enclosed cargo trailers. Estimates are $150 and are credited back against an authorized repair, so the money goes toward the work rather than to a shop that never touches your vehicle.
